Ibiza : Easy Post used on Self-Made Postcard (2014)
A self-made postcard and posted using Easy Post label.
Easy Post is a private postal service that does not have a good relation with the official national postal service, Correos. In fact, Correos has taken plenty of measures to block Easy Post and even notification that Correos will not be delivering letters with Easy Post stamps if sender has mistakenly posted into wrong mailing box.
Unlike to international delivery, where Easy Post feeds into Malta Post, which the latter is a UPU member and the former is not; Easy Post does not have national delivery service. Therefore, it has to tap into Correos delivery network.
In the past, Easy Post would place a white sticker on top of the label and pass to another private postal company, UniPost which has agreement with Correos for national postal sorting and processing. In 2013, I do not see any more of UniPost process, however, I noticed that Easy Post (or its agent) removed its own label and later have it placed with Correos stamp for national delivery.
This postcard however is special, the label is untouched and it shows that it has been processed by Correos. Indeed making it special.
Even though I was not the 'recipient', indeed want to thank Una for using the stamp. xx
