Federated Malay States - From Kuala Lumpur to Dömitz, Germany (1904)
Post card sent from Kuala Lumpur, Selangor (part of Federated Malay States) to Dömitz, Germany.

Transit in Penang on 9 June 1904.

Arrived in Dömitz on 5 July 1904.

This card is believed to be 'philatelic postcard' as no message was written on the back and the reply card is still intact.

It was probably self-addressed by the sender.

Water stained could caused by exposed to rain or wet condition OR water was used to separate the stamps that was use to uprate the card for international delivery.

Based on postmark and stain, it is believed that two stamps were originally applied.

Since 1 January 1899, postcard rate from Federated Malay States to another UPU countries was 3 cents.
