State of Singapore - Internal Self-Government New Constitution (1959) MNH
From 3 June 1959, Singapore became a self-governing state as the State of Singapore.

Stamps were issued to commemorate the new constitution that saw Singapore turning from a British colony to that of a state. Design showing Singapore Lion and Administrative Centre.

Ceased validity on 28/02/1965.
