San Lorenzo
Sant Llorenς de Balafia (in Catalan, in English: San Lorenzo) is a small town of historical relevance, surrounded by fields and bathed by a wonderful light. As in other villages, life revolves around the church, which main feature is to have a sole arch at the entrance, the same as Santa Gertrudis temple. The belfry, nowadays located in the middle of the façade, used to be at one end. However, it was placed in its current position after some alterations were made to the building in the XIX century.
The village is in the municipality of Sant Joan de Labritja. The village lies to the west the designated road PM-733 which connects Ibiza town with the village of Sant Joan de Labritja. The village is 9.9 miles (15.9 km) north of Ibiza Town and 14.5 miles (23.3 km) from Ibiza Airport.
The post office in only manned by one staff at any time of the day and is only opened from 1pm to 2pm (only one hour), 5 days a week.
