Inden for randen står MARGRETHE ♥ DANMARKS DRONNING.

MAJ. Forneden står der: 200 KR.

On 14 May 2004, Crown Prince Frederik married in the Church of Our Lady, which is the cathedral of Copenhagen, to Mary Elizabeth Donaldson, then Crown Princess Mary of Denmark. In a dream wedding dress and with a queen dignity moved Mary Donaldson himself at his father's side down the aisle to the waiting crown prince who tearfully received his bride.

After the ceremony drove the newlyweds in an open carriage to Amalienborg Palace, where they let themselves shelf on the balcony. The large wedding party was held at Fredensborg Palace, in a huge white tent in the garden where dinner was consumed. Subsequently, there was dancing wedding waltz in the cupola room. Prior to the wedding had there all week been a number of events. Defence tribute, Rock'n Royal Park, Match Race, Dinner at Christiansborg, Reception at Copenhagen City Hall, and Party Fore-position in the Royal Theatre

The wedding took place seven months after the engagement, which was declared on 8 October 2003. The pair received the press at Fredensborg Palace, surrounded by the royal couple, Mary's father John Donaldson and stepmother Susan Donaldson (formerly Moody). Mary took both the press and the entire Danish population by storm when she opened the press conference with a brief speech in Danish.
