World Stamp Exhibition from 2-14 August, 2013, on the 130th anniversary of the launch of Thailand’s postal service and the issue of the country’s very first postage stamp.
 
The official mascot for THAILAND 2013 – World Stamp Exhibition is adapted from Kinnaree, a half-bird half-woman character in Thai literatures, who lives in Himmaparn forest. She is perfectly beautiful with delicacy, full of happiness and joyfulness. The figure of Kinnaree is always found in architectural works, especially at the main entrance of a building to show the warm welcome and hospitality.

Tri-Nation Exhibition was helf from 23 - 25 August 2013.

Tri-Nation Stamp Exhibition (organized by Thailand, Singapore and Malaysia). The idea of this joint stamp exhibition was talked about and conceived in 2010. The first meeting was held at Johannesburg, Africa in November 2011 by representatives from Philatelic Association of Thailand, Association of Singapore Philatelists and Philatelic Society Malaysia to discuss about the general objectives and policy. 

The meeting also decided that Thailand would be the first to host TRI-NATION. In 2011, Thailand successfully hosted the first TRI-NATION Stamp Exhibition at Chiangmai International Conference Center from 21 till 23 October 2011. This was followed by Singapore who hosted the second TRI-NATION Stamp Exhibition at National Library from 31 August till 2 September 2012. It was held in conjunction with SINGPEX2012, Singapore National Stamp Exhibition. 

Malaysia is the host for the third TRI-NATION which will be held from 23 till 25 August 2013 at Pos Malaysia Headquarters, Kuala Lumpur. This will be the first time a set of commemorative stamps will be jointly issued for TRI-NATION Stamp Exhibition. TRI-NATION Stamp Exhibition 2013 is also held to celebrate 50 years of the formation of MALAYSIA.

The selvage of the stamp sheetlets carry the national flowers of the three countries (hibiscus flower, Rosa Sinensis - Malaysia; orchid flower, Vanda Miss Joaquim - Singapore; Cassia Fistula Flower - Thailand) and the logos of the three philatelic societies.
